Just Composed:
I have a bad habit while working.
I can't seem to stop myself shirking.
Whether it's lj or Facebook,
I keep sneaking quick looks,
and posting - it's just no fun lurking!

There once was a man from Japan
whose poems would rhyme, but not scan.
When told this was so,
he replied, "Yes, I know,
but I always try to get as many syllables into the last line as I possibly can."

Writer's Block: On Character Preferences

Now here's an irresistible question:

Who is your favorite fictional character? Why do you love them? What fictional character bugs you?

Aww, I can only pick one! Well, tempted as I am to say Lizzy Bennet or one of my big three HP characters (Harry, Luna, and Dumbledore), but I think I'm going with Jane Eyre because of this: "Laws and principles are not for the times when there is no temptation: they are for such moments as this, when body and soul rise in mutiny against their rigour; stringent are they; inviolate they shall be. If at my individual convenience I might break them, what would be their worth?"
